The Amelia Island Tourist Development Council achieves its mission through contracts with firms specializing in advertising and marketing, online/interactive, and public relations. The management of the program is the responsibility of the Amelia Island Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Management
The Amelia Island Convention & Visitors Bureau is a 501(c) 6 non-profit corporation created in October, 2008 to focus exclusively on the promotion of tourism to Amelia Island. Prior to that time, the tourism program of the AITDC was managed by the Amelia Island - Fernandina Beach - Yulee Chamber of Commerce. Funding for the Convention & Visitors Bureau comes through a contract with the Nassau County Board of County Commissioners and is limited by law to 15% of the net tourist tax collections on Amelia Island. The AICVB has a staff of three full-time tourism professionals, and two part-time associates.
Advertising and Marketing
Paradise Advertising and Marketing is one of Florida's most recognized firms in hospitality industry and destination marketing. The Paradise team is charged with executing the brand strategy and overseeing development of creative and collateral materials. The firm also handles media strategies designed to maximize financial resources.

Online/Interactive
Online and interactive marketing is currently being handled by a team of specialists, coordinated by the AICVB's Vice-President. The team is responsible for web-site design and maintenance, search engine optimization strategies, and email marketing campaigns.

The staff is responsible for media familiarization tours, press releases, online content, media missions domestically and internationally, and programs with corporate partners.
